For your information, Upchurch River Valley is a pay and play facility which opened in 1991 and which remains under the ownership of Upchurch River Valley Golf Course Limited.
Upchurch River Valley Golf Club administer the membership at Upchurch www.urvgc.co.uk they have a full diary of golf and social events with competitions for all sections and many events involving the whole club. They compete locally in The Whitbread, Penfold, Invicta and Super 70’s leagues, a vibrant forward thinking club based here at River Valley.
The golf club was also founded in 1991 with the express purpose of:
Providing affiliation to those National and County ruling bodies, which would allow the club to allocate and administer CONGU handicaps
Promoting competitive golf by organizing a full programme of club events and competitions
The club is managed by an elected Committee and employs a part-time secretary to handle day-to-day administration.
